You could try cardboard and masking tape , though be sure to check that it is low-tack tape and is removed quickly so not to mark the glass.

Hi, I have just tried painting my upvc window with Zinsser exterior all coat satin white, however, the finish with both brush and roller is bad, granted I painted it on a very warm day but is there anyway of either thinning the paint down or an additive to alleviate the brush marks.
